We are pleased to announce the award of a grant to enable us to commence a new ‘Community Visitors’ project.
The ‘Community Visitors’ project is being funded by the Essex Millennium Fund which is managed by Essex Community Foundation.
This project is designed to help promote the quality of care and the quality of life available to residents of care homes for older people.
The ECF grant will help us to provide volunteer supervision, training and expenses, and provision of Advocates (in partnership with Essex Independent Living Advocates) for a care home in Colchester and allow the first phase of the project to start up.
