Make new friends in your neighbourhood and share a little happiness!

Published on

We all feel better for a smile or friendly greeting so why not join us in sharing a little happiness in communities across our great county?

We’re inviting you to get to know your neighbours in your local residential care home, both the older people living there and their carers. Where we live is important and there’s so much to be gained when we reach out and make new friends.

Maybe you don’t know where your local care home is or, if you do, how to make contact? That’s not a problem as we’re here to help. We work with residential homes across Essex helping them to connect with their local communities and enabling their communities to engage with them. As the famous Barbra Streisand song says: “People who need people, are the luckiest people in the world.”

Please contact us for a chat about how you can make new friends and enrich the lives of older people who can no longer live independently but still want to live life to the full. We all have something to share and you’re guaranteed a warm welcome. We’ll help you with introductions and can offer training and ongoing support so what are you waiting for? Contact our Development Officer Debbie Tanner, or call her on 0845 017 1095 for an informal chat.
