Kesed Church Colchester become good FaNs

Carols and Coffee

Congratulations and a big thank you to Kesed Church who invited residents from care homes in Colchester to join them for a morning of Coffee and Carols. The church group offered transport to and from their new town centre location - the team of volunteers ensured an endless flow of tea, coffee, cakes, conversation as well as carol singing and crackers! Every resident was given a personally written Christmas card from a member of the Church along with a gift of local Tiptree Jam and festive biscuits all wrapped up with love.

The event was wonderfully successful, so much so that members of the Church were asked to go along to one of the care homes and sing a few extra Carols for the residents who had been unable to leave the home, which they were pleased to do. Residents, carers and volunteers from the Church all had a great time and Kesed Church say they will definitely be doing a similar event next Christmas as well as doing other things throughout the year to continue the great relationship they have begun with residents and carers.
