Our Wishing Washing Line continues to grow.

Published on

Since its launch in 2016, the Wishing Washing Line has delivered wishes granted by community members across the country.

When the Wishing Washing Line was launched in 2016, our aim was to grant the wishes of approximately 150 people living in care homes across North Essex. In the 8 years since, we have engaged with approximately 500 care homes across the world from Winnipeg to Auckland and including, the latest international Wishing Washing Line, in Beijing.

In the UK alone over 2,000 residents' wishes have been granted by individuals, community groups, schools, care professionals and many more.

From 'Meeting your hero' to simply having a knitting companion, a wish can be anything that you dream of, and we're looking forward to enabling many more wishes to be granted for years to come.

Look out for brand new wishes coming soon across Essex and beyond with new local boards and an even easier way to grant them.
